Cabbage Stroganoff
An interesting and delicious side dish that's a little different. Especially good with pork.
Serves: 4
Ingredients
1/2 head of Cabbage, shredded fine
1 med. sweet onion sliced and separated into rings
1 tsp beef broth powder
3 Tbsps butter
1/3 cup sour cream
Salt & pepper
Method
- Melt butter in non-stick skillet. Add onion and saute 1-2 min on medium high heat. Add cabbage and saute/fry until tender and edges are lightly browned.
- Reduce heat to medium, sprinkle broth powder over the mix and stir, continuing to fry. Salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and add sour cream. Toss until cabbage is coated with sour cream.
