Cabbage Stroganoff

An interesting and delicious side dish that's a little different. Especially good with pork.

Serves: 4


Ingredients

1/2 head of Cabbage, shredded fine
1 med. sweet onion sliced and separated into rings
1 tsp beef broth powder
3 Tbsps butter
1/3 cup sour cream
Salt & pepper


Method

  1. Melt butter in non-stick skillet. Add onion and saute 1-2 min on medium high heat. Add cabbage and saute/fry until tender and edges are lightly browned.
  2. Reduce heat to medium, sprinkle broth powder over the mix and stir, continuing to fry. Salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Remove from heat and add sour cream. Toss until cabbage is coated with sour cream.
