Christmas Chocolate Trifle
Serves: 8
Ingredients
1 package Brownie mix - prepared as directed
2 large boxes instant chocolate pudding - prepared as directed
1/2 cup coffee liqueur
12 ounces Cool Whip
6 bars toffee
Method
- Prepare the brownie mix as directed.
- Remove it from the oven and while it is still hot, pierce it with a fork several times.
- Pour the liqueur over the mix.
- While brownies are cooling make the pudding as directed.
- Take 1/3 of the prepared brownies and crumble into the bottom of Trifle (or glass) bowl.
- Layer 1/3 of the pudding on top of the brownies, 1/3 of the Cool Whip on top of the pudding and layer 2 of the toffee bars, crumbled, on top of the cool whip.
- Repeat layering in this manner until you are done, ending with the last two toffee bars.
- Refrigerate 24 hours.
