Christmas Chocolate Trifle

Ingredients

1 package Brownie mix - prepared as directed
2 large boxes instant chocolate pudding - prepared as directed
1/2 cup coffee liqueur
12 ounces Cool Whip
6 bars toffee


Method

  1. Prepare the brownie mix as directed.
  2. Remove it from the oven and while it is still hot, pierce it with a fork several times.
  3. Pour the liqueur over the mix.
  4. While brownies are cooling make the pudding as directed.
  5. Take 1/3 of the prepared brownies and crumble into the bottom of Trifle (or glass) bowl.
  6. Layer 1/3 of the pudding on top of the brownies, 1/3 of the Cool Whip on top of the pudding and layer 2 of the toffee bars, crumbled, on top of the cool whip.
  7. Repeat layering in this manner until you are done, ending with the last two toffee bars.
  8. Refrigerate 24 hours.
