Crunch crust brownies
Serves: 18 bars
Ingredients
1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 pkg (approx 19 oz) fudge brownie mix
1/4 cup hot water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
Method
- Combine first 4 ingredients in a small bowl - mix well. Press mixture into a greased 9-inch square pan. Set aside.
- Combine brownie mix, hot water, oil, and egg in a large mixing bowl - mix with a wooden spoon until blended. Spoon over crumb mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut into 3- x 1-1/2-inch bars.
