Easy Cheese Souffle

Serves: 4


Ingredients

1 pint milk and water
3 oz breadcrumbs
1 egg
Salt and pepper
Mustard
3 oz cheddar cheese


Method

  1. Heat the liquid and pour it over the breadcrumbs, leave to soak for 15 mins, then beat it up, adding egg yolk, salt pepper mustard and cheese.
  2. Then fold in lightly the stiffly whisked egg white. Pour mixture into a greased pie dish.
  3. Bake at 400 F for 30 to 40 mins until risen and golden brown. Serve immediately.
