Herb Popovers
Serves: 6
Ingredients
1 egg
2 egg whites
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup skim milk
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1/4 teaspoon onion salt
Method
- Heat oven to 450F. Spray six 6-ounce custard cups with nonstick cooking spray.
- Place all ingredients in blender. Cover and blend on medium speed about 15 seconds, stopping blender to scrape sides if necessary, just until smooth.
- Fill custard cups about half full. Bake 20 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 350F. Bake 15 to 20 minutes longer or until deep golden brown. Immediately remove from cups. Serve hot.
