Marmalade Buns
Serves: 6
Ingredients
2 oz butter
4 oz flour
2 oz sugar
1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda
Pinch of salt
2 tsps marmalade
1/2 an egg
Milk to mix
Method
- Rub the flour and butter together. Add the other ingredients, mixing with the egg and enough milk to give a soft mixture.
- Put mixture into greased bun tins and bake in moderately hot oven (400 F) for about 20 mins, until the buns are firm to the touch.
