Maryland Crab Cakes
Top with tartar sauce.
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients
1 pound crab meat
1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
1 egg
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 pinch cayenne pepper
Red pepper flakes, to taste (optional)
Method
- Combine all ingredients, except crab, in a bowl. Mix well.
- Add crab and mix gently, but thoroughly.
- Shape into six cakes. Cook five minutes each side.
