Easy Pancakes

For thinner pancakes, add more milk. Also add cinnamon, nutmeg or ginger at times for a different flavor.

Ingredients

1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 beaten egg
2 tablespoons salad oil
1 cup of milk


Method

  1. Mix together dry ingredients.
  2. Combine egg, milk and salad oil, add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
  3. Bake on hot griddle. Makes about 12 dollar size pancakes or eight 4-inch pancakes
