Shrimp Broccoli Stir Fry
Serve over hot rice or noodles.
1 pound large shrimp, shelled and deveined
1 Tbsp peanut oil
2 cups partially steamed fresh broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
1 Tbsp dry sherry
1 tsp sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup water
- Heat peanut oil in a wok or skillet and saute shrimp until pink.
- Add broccoli, sugar, ginger, sherry, sesame oil and salt and pepper and saute for several minutes.
- Combine water and cornstarch and add to mixture and cook until mixture starts to thicken.
