Sour Cream Peach Pie

Serves: 4-6


Ingredients

1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can cling peach slices
1 cup sugar
5 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup dairy sour cream
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 (additional) Tbsp. sugar
Unbaked pastry for 9" crust plus lattice top


Method

  1. Drain peaches thoroughly and arrange in pastry-lined pie pan.
  2. Combine one cup sugar with salt, flour and sour cream; spoon over peaches. Blend 2 tablespoons sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over filling.
  3. Top with strips of pastry arranged lattice-fashion.
  4. Bake in 450 degree oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 40 to 45 minutes longer.
