6 oz puff or flaky pastry
Cream or thick custard
Raspberry or strawberry jam
White glace icing
- Roll the pastry quarter inch thick and form into a strip 4 inches wide. Cut into oblong pieces one and half inches wide and bake at 475 F for 10 minutes.
- Cool slices then sandwich two or three of them together with jam and cream or thick custard, which has been flavoured with vanilla essence. Top the slices with glace icing.
